Jo Ann's Story
Life
After working for 35 years as secretary then office administrator in many companies throughout Ohio and Florida with the last being as Realtor and manager, I entered college as a non-traditional student. Currently, I am working on my doctorate in education while I teach freshman English at our local community college. I am re-married l7 years to Michael with one son, Jason, a graduate of Univ. of Fl. and a year old grandson, Christian. We are all very happy in beautiful Florida. College
When I went to Stow High I was expected to work, so college wasn't an option. 25 years later I changed that and entered college for the first time. I love everything about higher education. I learned that an education is the way to find true freedom and that the best way to learn is to teach. So now I do both as teacher and student. I'm working on my doctorate now.
